The biomass briquette machine is designed to transform various biomass materials into dense, compact sawdust briquettes. As an eco-friendly and high-efficiency charcoal briquetting device, it’s widely applied in biomass energy production. The final sawdust briquettes serve as biofuel for home fireplaces, boiler heating, power plant steam generation, barbecues and other scenarios, and are regarded as an optimal alternative to coal and other fossil fuels.
A wide range of waste materials and residues can be used, such as sawdust, bamboo dust, bagasse, cotton stalks, coffee husks, peanut shells, rice husks, sunflower shells, straw and sugar factory waste. Other applicable materials include coconut shells, tea grounds, tree bark, weeds, shrubs and branches.
Materials need to be finer than 5mm and have a moisture content of 8%–12%. Too large or wet materials are hard to form, increase wear and reduce finished product quality. Crushed and dried materials are ready for use with no binders required.
The finished briquettes typically have an outer diameter of 50–60mm and a hole diameter of 15–20mm, with a hollow square or hexagonal cylindrical shape.
Raw Material Pretreatment: Before feeding into the biomass briquette machine, raw materials need preprocessing (e.g., crushing and drying) to facilitate better molding.
Feeding: Feed the processed raw materials into the machine through the feeding port.
Pressing and Molding: Under the combined action of the screw propeller and heating ring, a high-temperature and high-pressure area is generated. This processes loose raw materials into hollow solid rods that boast high density, small size and strong flammability.
